2022-23Concert Season

Sanctuary in the City: Three for Four

-

The 18th century string quartet epitomized the values of the Age of Enlightenment, a way for friends to revel in social music-making that was at once a celebration of the art and a tribute to the ideals of equality, friendship, and learning. Tekla Cunningham and friends perform quartets by three of the masters of the genre: Franz Josef Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Maddalena Laura Sirmen.

Featuring: Tekla Cunningham, and friends
