Founded in 2009 by GRAMMY award winning lutenist and conductor Stephen Stubbs, Pacific
MusicWorks inspires audiences with music and music theater worthy of the world stage, presenting
fresh takes on beloved baroque masterpieces and joyfully exploring new and unknown works, with
a growing emphasis on outreach to underserved and diverse communities throughout King County.
PMW amplifies the voices of historically excluded populations through a commitment to employing
artists of color and through ongoing research and presentation of works by women, composers of
color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community from the 17th century to the present.
